Our Services
Access to CAD, LLC provides computer-aided drafting services to building design professionals and are also trained to work with construction companies in developing "As Built" drawing sets during the "construction administration" phase of projects. Our technicians are qualified to work with multiple CAD and discipline specific software programs. The Company provides high-quality services to meet the needs of each client according to their design profession. By utilizing a customized, needs-based approach to each project, and through ongoing communications with the project team, we are able to successfully assist our clients in completing projects at a reasonable rate.
Services can be performed on-site, in the client’s office or in-house at ATC’s office. When an engineer or architect is overwhelmed and needs assistance, we can immediately step in with the knowledge and experience to get the job done.
Access To CAD’s project experience ranges from commercial renovations to multi-million-dollar mixed-use commercial projects using the following software: Revit Architecture and Structural Building Design, BIM Pro, AutoCAD and Bentley MicroStation.

Field CAD Technician
Our Field CAD Technician service
dispatches a discipline specific
technician to work in a client’s office to meet any and all project
assignments and/or deadlines. Multi-disciplined firms will benefit from ATC’s ability to assign a technician for each of the client’s design departments or assign a multi- discipline experienced cad technician to complete the work for the entire project’s needs. ATC’s technicians are prepared to perform their duties using
AutoCAD, Revit, BIM and/or
MicroStation.
Pre-Assigned Technician
Our Pre-assigned CAD Technician
service is a request for cad
services from one of our
qualified technicians for a
predetermined consistent period
of time. Any of ATC’s clients has
the option to employ a
technician on a specific day of
the week or month for a defined
period of time, in order to keep
their workload under control.
Customization Service
Our Customization/Standards service. The development and upkeep of client’s company CAD standards. The creation of CAD customization tools and documentation.
The creation and maintenance of client proprietary custom Reference Details in multiple software platforms.
In-House CAD Technician
The ATC’s In-House CAD Technician service assigns an experienced technician in all disciplines and cad software to work in our office using cloud-based and/or platform shared
software. This service saves the client the expense of additional equipment and software licenses for a temporary cad technician. Our client receives the same discipline specific expertise
and is guaranteed the same quality
work and attention to project
deadlines.
Field Measuring Technician
Field measuring and creating existing documents is a service available to all Access To CAD clients. This service may be needed in the beginning of a project to create existing building layout plans and details or during the development of documents to confirm the accuracy of existing information. Real Estate and/or property owners will benefit from this service whether there is a need for existing drawings for renovations or to develop 3D presentation renderings for owners/investors to view.
Translations
Translations, this service is
commonly requested by building
design firms, construction firms
and federal agencies, such as
MDOT. When our client is
required to deliver their project in
a software format other than what
they use, ATC is able to translate
the drawings to the appropriate
deliverable software platform.
This is a service available during
the process of developing
construction documents or the
client can hire Access To CAD after
the creation of the documents to
be translated.
Additional Service Benefits
Building electronic 3d models, plans, elevations and details; renderings for visualization and more are all drafted to a high standard and to the client's requirements. In addition to:
• Existing CAD files can be amended or updated according to the client’s needs.
• Architectural or building services plans brought up to 'As Built' phase.
• Changes to design drawings can be made, and additional details can be electronically incorporated.
• Engineering details can be amended according to up-dated and/or project specifications.
• Customer's; existing paper drawings can be accurately transferred into any CAD format.
